Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Simor (“we”). You accept them by ticking the box when you create your account. Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with your data, and our Trust & Security page, which describes how the trust score actually works.
What Simor is
Simor gives you a professional work identity: a Simor handle and card, an AI agent that can represent you, a trust score built from a record of your work, team workspaces, and tools for being found by the right people. You can connect your own work accounts (such as Gmail, Calendar, Notion or GitHub) so that real work counts toward that record.
Your AI agent acts on the information you give it. You are responsible for reviewing what it commits to on your behalf.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 and provide accurate information.
- You are responsible for activity under your account. One account per person.
- You can delete your account at any time in Settings.
- Only you may connect your own accounts. You must not connect an account you do not personally control, and no employer or third party may connect one on your behalf.
The trust score — what it is
Your trust score is a summary of dated, objective events from your work: commitments kept or missed, questions answered, deliveries made. It is our good-faith assessment, not a guarantee about any person or company. Always use your own judgment in business dealings.
- Every change is recorded with its reason, its dimension, and the score before and after. You can see all of it in your score history.
- You can contest any change. Tap “This looks wrong” on the change and a person at Simor reviews it. The outcome is recorded.
- We never infer emotion, sentiment, mood or tone — from your messages, your voice, or anything else. Scores are built from events, never from judgements about your character or feelings.
- Data from connected tools is shown as activity. For most accounts it carries no weight in the score; on specific opted-in accounts it is entering the score through a limited pilot under the limits published on our Trust page.
Work purposes only. The trust score exists for work decisions — deciding whether to hire, engage, or do business with someone. It must not be used for anything else.
The trust score — how it may not be used
By using Simor, or by viewing anyone’s Simor card, you agree that you will not use a Simor trust score, card, or any data obtained from Simor:
- to decide about housing (tenancy, rental or property applications);
- to decide about credit, lending, or insurance;
- for background checks, vetting, or screening outside a genuine work engagement;
- for dating, personal or social evaluation of any kind;
- to evaluate a person in a context unrelated to the work the data came from;
- to build a database, profile, or score about people, or to enrich one.
We do not offer bulk lookup, and automated collection of member data (scraping, crawling, mass card retrieval) is prohibited. We may suspend any account or block any viewer that uses Simor for a purpose listed above.
Acceptable use
- No impersonation. No attempts to manipulate trust scores, whether your own or anyone else’s.
- No unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or fraudulent activity through Simor or its agents.
- Do not use Simor’s AI to mislead someone about who or what they are talking to.
- We may suspend accounts that abuse the platform or harm other members.
AI, and telling people it is AI
Responses produced by Simor agents are generated by AI and can be wrong. They are not professional, legal, medical, or financial advice — verify important facts before acting on them.
Every Simor agent identifies itself as an AI at the start of a conversation or call, and will say so plainly if asked. You must not disable, alter, or work around that disclosure, or present an AI conversation as if it were a person speaking.
Your content
You own what you upload. You grant us the licence needed to operate the service — to store, process, and display your content to you, your team, and (only for what you make public) to others. We do not use your private content for anything else, and we do not use it to train AI models.
Connected accounts
When you connect a work account, the part that feeds your trust score keeps typed events and dates only — not message text, subjects, or the people you talk to. Content you explicitly point Simor at behaves differently: an answer your assistant gives you becomes part of your chat history, and a workflow you build that triggers on email stores the sender, subject and preview of the messages that trigger it. The Privacy Policy sets this out path by path.
You can disconnect at any time in Settings, which revokes our access and deletes that provider’s derived data. Your use of each provider remains subject to that provider’s own terms.
Credits and billing
Some features consume service credits. Welcome credits are promotional, spend-only, and have no cash value. Prices and included allowances may change with notice.
Availability and changes
Simor is provided “as is”. We work hard to keep it available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may modify or discontinue features. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us in the last 12 months.
Termination
You may stop using Simor anytime. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
Changes to these terms
We will post material changes here with a new effective date and tell you in the app before they take effect. Where a change affects what you consented to, we will ask you again rather than assume.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Simor is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
